A lady visiting her mother, who had severe dementia, requested all the songs her mother used to sing to her as a child. They both sang to each other – it was very emotional for everyone there.

Adidas Women's 5K Challenge 2010
Entry is on a first come first served basis until they reach capacity – so the earlier you apply the better chance you have. As part of Marple Festival 2010, Music in Hospitals North West is holding a Recital featuring renowned cellist, Adrianne Wininsky on Saturday 11th September at All Saints Church, Church Lane, Marple at 2.30 pm. We will also be featuring other music, including X-tet ( a recorder quartet) and other acts to be confirmed. Tickets will be £5.00, children are free. Refreshments available. Adrianne is a Marple based musician from the States and has played with Take That, Michael Buble and Daniel Beddingfield and has appeared on Top of the Pops, X Factor and the Michael Parkinson Show.
